Identifying a Unique Communication Mechanism of Thermochromic Liquid Crystal Printing Ink

Thermochromic liquid crystal materials are commonly used in printing inks, opening up a wide range of possible applications. In order to ensure and control the most accurate application, occurrence so-called colour play effect, i.e., appearance iridescent (rainbow) colours as function temperature, must be determined precisely. For this purpose, temperature-dependent reflection sample measured using spectrometer with an integrating sphere. The same values should obtained for each containing thermochromic crystalline material, irrespective used, sphere, layer thickness surface properties substrate. To describe intrinsic property term communication mechanism might considered. research has shown how is experimentally.
